Located at ONE COMPLEX in beautiful Salem, Oregon, Capital FC’s Cherry City Cup is this year’s most exciting new tournament offering. With quality competition at every level, we are excited to welcome you for this tournament over Labor Day Weekend.

All games are held at Capital Futbol Club’s 37-acre soccer complex. With high quality grass and synthetic fields, over 600 parking spots, on-site vendors, and nearby eateries, we offer Oregon’s best soccer tournament experience.

TOURNAMENT HIGHLIGHTS

 

Four-GAME-GUARANTEE AND QUALITY REFEREEING

All teams receive 4 games, with two games on Saturday, and two games on Sunday, and finals played on Monday.

Saturday: Teams should plan on two games. The games will be from 8:30am to 8:30pm. Teams at partner hotels traveling 4+ hours will be able to request later kickoffs.

Sunday: Teams should plan on two games. The games will be from 8:30am to 8:30pm.

Monday: Championship games will be played on Monday.

Referees come from our in-house and award winning Referee Coordinator, Jose Maciel, who has consistently provided great coverage with referees that match the needs of each level of competition.

We work hard to create meaningful competition across all divisions so teams can compete accordingly.

 

CONVENIENT AND FESTIVE AWARD-WINNING VENUE

Games are in ONE LOCATION, not spread out across multiple venues. This simplifies the experience and creates a “carnival feel” at the event, as well as makes it an easy tournament for clubs to participate in and watch/support multiple teams.

Capital FC’s Pioneer Sports Park is Oregon’s Best Soccer Venue. Privately owned and operated, the complex includes 2 FIFA PRO Quality Turf Fields, well-manicured grass, and amenities for fans and players alike.

Registration Fees

BEFORE JULY 1, 2024

  • U11-U12 – 9 vs 9 - Fee $625

  • U13-U15 – 11 vs 11 - Fee $695

AFTER JULY 1, 2024

  • U11-U12 – 9 vs 9 - Fee $675

  • U13-U15 – 11 vs 11 - Fee $745

*a 4% processing fee will be added to debit/credit card payments

Age Groups

  • U11 – Players born in 2014

  • U12 – Players born in 2013

  • U13 – Players born in 2012

  • U14 – Players born in 2011

  • U15 – Players born in 2010 (Oregon 8th Grade teams)

Coaching Conflicts

In order to avoid coaching conflicts, it is important that you enter the coach’s name during the registration process. Coaching Change? Update in GotSport before the registration deadline. Brackets will be assembled, checked, and posted a week before the tournament.

Parking

Parking for the tournament is $10 per car for the event.

Tournament Housing

We pride ourselves in our city’s ability to help create an amazing experience for your team. It is recommended for teams traveling more than 75 miles one way to book their stay in Salem. We work with Travel Salem to provide discounted rates for hotels.

Tournament Notes & Reminders

  • There is No RV Parking onsite during the tournament, overnight or daytime

  • NO PETS are allowed on the fields, no exceptions
