SALEM, Ore. – Capital FC Timbers announced today they will expand their programming indoors by taking over operations and management of Oregon Indoor, Salem’s original indoor soccer center.
As part of the transition, Oregon Indoor will be renamed “Salem Indoor.” Capital FC has begun the process of revitalizing existing league play as well as reintroducing youth leagues and programs. In addition to enhancing programming and soccer-knowledgable management, Capital FC has been working with Oregon Indoor and donors to make some significant improvements to the building. “On behalf of the board and our staff, I can say there is a genuine sense of excitement and anticipation about the potential impact this space can make,” says Collin Box, Capital FC Executive Director. “This is an opportunity for soccer-playing kids and adults, and will also help advance some of the club’s strategic plans.”
Salem Indoor looks to kick-off its season with a Thanksgiving Tournament beginning November 25th. Following the tournament, classes, clinics and leagues will begin for the winter sessions.
