SALEM, Ore. — Capital FC Timbers announced today that Clifford Eiffler-Rodriguez will be the club’s new Director of Operations.
Clifford grew up in Salem where he graduated from North Salem High School in 2003. He has been involved in the sports industry for well over 10 years, starting his career here locally with Salem Parks and Rec as a teenager. Clifford has a wealth of experience in the sports recreation industry, working in the past for Tualatin Hills Parks and Rec, Portland Parks and Rec, and the YMCA. Clifford has also worked to build indoor soccer programs with both Salem Indoor Soccer, and SoccerPlex in Portland. For the last four years, Clifford has worked for Stack Sports, one of the largest sports registration software companies in the world.
Clifford became involved with CFC when he was introduced to Executive Director, Collin Box, as part of his efforts to develop futsal courts in the Salem area. Since then, he has volunteered as part of the Timbers U23 board for the past year and joins the club as the Director of Operations.
“Clifford brings with him a new level of sports administrative experience that will allow us to expand the service we’re able to give to our members,” states club Executive Director, Collin Box. “Moreover, Clifford is a great person that meshes well with the values we have at Capital FC. We’re thrilled to have him join our team.”
As Director of Operations, Clifford is set to take over two existing roles: recreational program coordination, and registrar duties in the clubhouse.
“In coming to CFC, I hope to continue to help push the club forward,” says Clifford. “We want the members to have an excellent experience from the moment the walk through our door to the final whistle of their games. Our club is growing. This area is growing. CFC is poised to be a leader in our community. Soccer is a game connects people and I am so grateful to be a part of it.”
