Goalkeepers? You’re in luck.

Chris and MaKenzie Pineda are CFC’s newest goalkeeping trainers set to focus on teaching fundamentals, communication, and presence that make a quality goalkeeper.

The two athletes played in competitive clubs and ODP growing up, then attended BYU Hawaii where both stood as top goalkeepers. They have coached for different clubs across the country and were trainers for Better Goalkeeping, which is a top goalkeeping academy in Utah. Chris has not only helped coach at the collegiate level, but also played for the RSL Academy, and finished his NCAA career as an All-American.

Coming into CFC, the Pineda’s want to create a strong goalkeeping culture that encourages athletes to push each other, rely on each other, motivate each other, and to grow every week together. Each week, they will focus on player development and technique’s such as the following:

– Ball Handling – Dives – Proper Technique – Confident Presence – High Balls -1v1’s  -Distribution -Speed and Agility – Angles and Positioning – and more!

Training Times will be held:

Tuesday 5:00-6:00pm (ages 10-12) // 6:00-7:00pm (ages 13-16)

Thursday 5:30-6:30pm (High Schoolers)

*Training are open to BOTH boys and girls*

*High Schoolers are able to choose which training session best fits their schedule*
