ABOUT

Capital FC Timbers (CFC), Salem’s youth soccer club, will be hosting its Soccer Ball and Benefit Auction on Saturday, May 12, 2018. CFC is a nonprofit organization established in 1993 and is operated by a volunteer Board of Directors.  Each year we at Capital provide soccer to nearly 2,000 area youth ages 3 to 18.  Approximately 40% of these children receive financial assistance from the club in the form of fee waivers or scholarships.   Last year’s auction allowed us to provide needed scholarships!  This is our largest club-wide fundraising activity.

The CFC Soccer Ball Auction will bring our soccer club one step closer to making this enriching activity available to all children.  One-hundred percent of proceeds will go to funding scholarships and our youth focused soccer programs.

We are expecting more than 250 adult attendees from the Salem/Keizer area.  This event will include both silent and oral auctions.  There is ample opportunity to promote your company.  We will be promoting the auction to our email list of approximately 2,500 and to that of the Salem Indoor Center of another 1,500.   World Cup and Gold Medal sponsors are included in these email promotions.  In addition, banners have exposure to 130,000 yearly visitors, 2,900 games played at the club and 150 teams from around the region at the Capital Cup tournament in June.

The auction will be Saturday, May 12, 2018, at the Salem Convention Center.  A sit-down gourmet dinner will be served.

Tickets are $50 per person and are available for purchase online here. Tickets must be purchased before May 6.
